Vadodara, also known as Baroda, is a city on the banks of the Vishwamitri River in the Indian state of Gujarat. It serves as the administrative headquarters of the Vadodara district. The city is named for its abundance of banyan trees.

Champaner is an ancient, abandoned, pre-Mughal Islamic city and UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the Panchmahal district of Gujarat, about 50 km northeast of Vadodara. Established in the 8th century, it features a spectacular blend of Hindu and Islamic architecture, encompassing forts, palaces, and step-wells.

Pavagadh is a prominent hill station and historic pilgrimage site in Gujarat’s Panchmahal district, located 46 km from Vadodara. It is renowned for the ancient Mahakali (Kalika Mata) Temple at its summit—a highly revered Shakti Peetha—and the surrounding ruins of the UNESCO-listed Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park.

Dakor is a prominent pilgrimage city in the Kheda district of Gujarat, India, widely celebrated for the majestic Ranchhodraiji Temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. Located roughly 90 km from Ahmedabad and 35 km from Nadiad, it is a major spiritual and cultural hub that draws thousands of devotees year-round.
