Rajput & Bundela Legacy

Gwalior is a city in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It’s known for its palaces and temples, including the Sas Bahu Ka Mandir intricately carved Hindu temple. Ancient Gwalior Fort occupies a sandstone plateau overlooking the city and is accessed via a winding road lined with sacred Jain statues. Within the fort’s high walls is the 15th-century Gujari Mahal Palace, now an archaeological museum.

Orchha, located in Madhya Pradesh’s Niwari district, is a 16th-century “hidden gem” known for its blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture, located along the Betwa River. Renowned as the “Ayodhya of MP” and a UNESCO World Heritage site, it features the unique Ram Raja Temple—where Rama is worshipped as a king—along with stunning palaces, chhatris (cenotaphs), and the Betwa riverbank.

Jhansi is a historic city in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Balwant Nagar was the old name of Jhansi. It lies in the region of Bundelkhand, on the banks of the Pahuj River, in the extreme south of Uttar Pradesh. Jhansi is the administrative headquarters of Jhansi district and Jhansi division.
